The Glacier Pattern Bundle - All of the Tester Photos!
3/05/2019 01:21:00 PM
This pattern bundle is my March 2019 pattern for the Bag of the Month Club, and if you are a member of the club, it will now be in your account at www.bagomc.com. If you are not a member, you can still join until the end of the Month, and after that it will not be available to purchase on my website until June 1st, 2019.
First, The Glacier Crossbody Bag, is a triple zipper “compartment” bag that features an additional vertical zip pocket in the front, as well as a credit card pocket & lipstick pocket in one of the outer compartments. It has a long adjustable strap that extends to 61” (155 cm) long.
I thought it would be fun to pull out some of those outer pocket features and provide some smaller bags out of this substantial pattern. From the main pattern came the next pattern in the bundle, "Glacier Base Bags - 2 Versions".

Let's see more inspiration!
Tara Sinclair, bag maker and instructor from UhOh Creations, used some beautiful Tula Pink fabric for hers. Can you see the mice? Gorgeous!
Cyndi from Nosy Pepper Patterns, is at it again!! She made a LARGE size Glacier Base Bag, adding a back slip pocket. This is soooo adorable. Thanks for all of your help, Cyndi!
Another lady, who also made 2 styles, Susan McQuone totally amazed us. The first bag below in grey & yellow is the Glacier Crossbody Bag in Joel Dewberry fabric, wow! After that, she made the LARGE size Glacier Base Bag in the most stunning linen for a very classy look. Thank you, Susan!
Thank you so much to all of my friends that have tested this bag pattern for me. It's thrilling to see the finished results. This was a lot of fun for me, and I am really happy with the way these bags turned out. I could not have done it without you!!

The size of the Glacier Crossbody Bag is:
Width at base - 12 1/2” (32 cm) Height - 12 1/2” (32 cm) Overall Depth - 6” (15 cm)
The fabric on the
cover of the pattern is a Stonehenge Ombre by Northcott, which was generously
provided by www.purplekatzquilting.com.

The Glacier Base Bags pattern is an "intermediate" level version of the more advanced Glacier Crossbody Bag. The mini is made from the outer pockets of the Glacier Crossbody, and the large is made using the main compartment. Both have a long strap that extends to 61” (155 cm) long, and a padded compartment. The large size, which is the quicker make of the two, features an outer slip pocket with a flap closure that snaps shut, and the mini features a vertical zipper pocket.
The finished measurements for these bags are:
Mini: Width at base - 10” (25.4 cm) Height - 10” (24.5 cm) Depth - 2 1/2” (6.35 cm)
Large: Width at base - 12 1/2” (32 cm) Height - 12 1/2” (32 cm) Depth - 2 1/2” (6.35 cm)
These 2 patterns will be offered in a bundle, so you can make all 3 versions!
