Pattern:
The Snowdrop Satchel from Blue Calla Patterns is the perfect sewing pattern to use to recreate our inspiration bag. It is available as both a PDF and paper pattern.
The Snowdrop comes in two sizes and the small measures: 9.5" W x 8" H x 3.25" D, which is perfect for our purposes. Like our inspiration bag, the Snowdrop has sides that are gathered, a zippered top closure and a detachable shoulder strap. The Snowdrop’s sides are clipped together with swivel clips or tassels, you could do this or use a small O-ring or Rectangle ring and make the side gusset permanent.

Fabric:
The Tannery NYC as a beautiful fuschia leather that is perfect to use when re creating our inspiration bag.
If you aren't comfortable working with leather, there are lots of alternatives that you can use to recreate the look of the Burberry, such as this fuchsia faux leather is available here.
Have you tried working with cork fabric? It's a great alternative to leather and is so easy to work with. You can purchase cork fabric from Sew Sweetness in the US and MM Cork Supply in Canada. There are so many colors and designs to choose from, like this fuchsia that would be perfect to recreate our inspiration bag:
You can choose to do this in whatever fabric you are comfortable working with! A fun cotton print, canvas or even denim! That's the benefit of creating your own, it's what YOU want it to be. Handmade can be couture too!
