Today is the first day of school for most kids in Canada, and I sure am going to miss my little man. But.... I feel the need to celebrate my little bit of daily freedom, and of course, our wonderful education system with a "WHOOP! SCHOOL IS BACK!!" scream and a store credit giveaway along with it.

  23. The best part of bag making is the finished product. Not going to lie, sometimes the bag making process is hell. But the end product is so worth it. And the feeling you get when finally finished (especially if it's a pain bag) is pretty awesome.

  39. What do I love about bag making?? That's easy! Having incredible unique bags and purses, giving gifts that are hand made, one of a kind, AND with emmaline they are actually pretty high quality pieces. Thank you for this give away!!

  40. I love the process of fabric selection (I usually use 2 or 3 coordinating prints in my handbags. The best thing though, when someone compliments one of my creations, is to be able to say, "Thanks, I made it myself! "

  46. I have always loved sewing things...I used to sew clothes then when into dolls and baskets....now I do a lot of quilts. I have made many purses and bags for myself and friends as gifts. I love picking out the fabric with what goes with the person I am gifting it to. I love your Necessary Clutch Purse.

  53. I started bag making about the same time I started quilting. Some fabrics are better as bags than quilts, bags are faster and more about sewing for MEMEME than the house. :)

  83. I read your question AFTER I commented. My favorite thing about sewing bags? Actually, there are two things. I love choosing the fabric, but I love even more the surprise when the bag is assembled at the end, when you follow a pattern. Your directions are very clear, but the bag is always a mystery while you are sewing--a good mystery!
