Get comfortable with zippers with the help of Joan Hawley!

Craftsy is celebrating the release of their 1000th class this week, and to celebrate they have put their most "wish listed" classes on sale for 50% off until Feb 11, 2016.

I thought I'd share Joan's class with you because I think this would be perfect for some of you that are just getting started with bag making and might be either nervous about adding zippers, or dislike adding them. Joan's class is fun, easy, and takes the fear out of zippers.

Although this is geared towards a beginner level, if you are an intermediate sewist that is new at bag making, you will still enjoy this class, because you will learn new bag making tips and be rewarded with THREE very useful projects.

Read more and watch the video introduction.

More about the Class:

"Zip It Up is a great foundation class to build your zipper and bag-making skills. We’ll make three small bags, which utilize these techniques and more: install zippers, box corners, seam finishes, selecting materials, directional prints. Throughout the class Joan also shares her shortcuts and tips that make construction easy and give her creations a professional look." - Craftsy

You'll start with the Runaround Bag….

Move on to the Nickita….

And then finish of with the Bendy Bag.

Hop over to the class, read the details, and check out the reviews to see if this class is for you. I watched it from beginning to end, and loved Joan's teaching style. The class is highly recommended!

Thanks so much for reading!!
Happy Sewing….
Janelle
