Airport Sling Sew-Along Details and What's Happening Here?

We Have a Sew-Along Coming!

If you've got our book, or are getting ready to order it (sold at amazon, C&T Publishing, or book & quilt stores near you), Lindsay and I are excited to tell you that we are going to start tackling some of these projects with you!

Do you buy a book and never make the projects? I do that a lot, because it seems like I like to look at the pictures and dream of the projects I would make, but sometimes I need a bit of a push. It's more fun to make things with a friend!  So we are doing this together.

We are starting with my pattern, The Airport Sling. The first instructional post of the sew-along will be here on my blog, and I'll go through all of the cutting and fusing of interfacing and talk a bit about interfacing/fleece & fabric choices with you. Then, I'll spend a couple of weeks, and several blog posts, going through all of the steps to sew it together and it will be so easy to follow along because I'll share photos of the whole process.

Please make sure you join our Facebook group "On The Go Bags", and join in the chat, and fabric photo sharing.

Prizes!!  Yes, we will wrap up the Airport Sling Sew-Along with prizes and then….
we'll jump into Lindsay's sew-along for the cover photo bag, the Sporty Strap Pack - with more Prizes!

You don't need to enter anything to join the sew-along, you only need to follow here for the instructional posts,  and in the Facebook group if you like.

We hope you'll join us!

Bag of the Month Club - April Pattern!!

We are most of the way through this session of the Bag of the Month Club already. Bags from January to April have been presented to the members already, and we are looking forward to see what May and June patterns will be. If you would like to see my pattern, the Gabby Bag, and all of the tester versions -  go here!

It's not too late to get this club subscription and get all of the patterns shown and the other 2 that are on the way. Here is the club website, and join us in the facebook group for all of the photo sharing fun!

The Great Canadian Craftsy Bag Tour

The bag tour is on day 3 and so far we've had 5 Craftsy classes reviewed. The blog posts are very informative and there are entries for prizes at the end of each. I hear there will be a big give-away at the end of the tour! Here is where the tour starts, but you can go down to the bottom of that post and see all of the stops.

Thank you so much for reading!
May all of your bobbins be full.
Janelle

  1. Yah! A SAL, guess I better go and order some Interfacing, I've been out for months and miss making bags, but the proper interfacing is very important!
