The Black Toile Emmaline Bag - Ready for the Shop!

The Emmaline Bag with handmade vinyl straps.
Yippee Yay! I've just finished my Emmaline Bag ePattern and have a few bags for sale. Having bags for sale is the one of the best by-products of pattern making. I just have to try them out 10 times and 5 different ways, it seems. One of them is ready for the shop, well it has been for a week or so - but I was reluctant to part with it. I can't keep them all though, so tonight I'll have some time to post it on the Etsy and Made-it Handmade shops.

This is the Emmaline Bag made in a gorgeous french country scene toile in a home decor weight linen. It's finished with handmade leather look straps and gorgeous shiny nickel rectangular rings. It also has a nice sized magnetic closure for security.

This is a great handbag, very soft and very roomy!  The bottom gusset in the bag just makes it so open inside.  Inside are pockets on either side; one is a zipper pocket with an adorable flower charm on the pull and the other is a double slip pocket perfect for your phone & sunglasses or keys.

I'm loving this linen, Click to enlarge photo.
Two pockets to keep all the good stuff!
I'll be posting this to the shop later today, complete with measurements and all the photos.  I would love to hear your comments on the bag.  If the toile fabric is a popular one, I might just make some more!  If you like the look of those handmade vinyl/leather look straps - have a look at my free tutorial.

Thank you for looking,
Janelle
